Charles started playing guitar at 11 years old and developed his ear by learning songs on his own. A few years later, he started composing his own songs with his punk band.

After studying multimedia at college, Charles studied electric bass for one year at Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy (CNDF), followed by four years of double bass studies at Quebec Music Conservatory, where he completed his College Diploma in Music and his Specialized Music Studies Diploma.

In 2009, Charles toured with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, where he played and got fascinated with Mahler and Stravinsky.

Afterwards, Charles lived abroad and travelled the world for 5 years, a period of adventures that still inspire his music today.

In recent years, Charles came back to playing multiple instruments and pursuing his dream of composing music for film and TV.

He's currently working on his first original music for a documentary while keeping an eye out for his next opportunities.
